Prior to this role, Vikas served as SVP and General Manager of Cisco Secure Routing and Industrial IoT, where he led product strategy for Cisco Routing, SD-WAN, Industrial Networking, and Multicloud Networking. A proven leader in fostering innovation and pioneering new business models, his career spans senior leadership roles in Cisco network engineering as well as experience at cloud and mobility start-ups, including Accelera and Mobile Iron.
He earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Optical and Data Communications, from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
