SVP, Global Services and Buying Program Sales

Chris Heckscher leads Cisco’s Global Services and Buying Program Sales (GSBP) organization, driving long-term growth by enhancing customer value through services and software adoption. Chris's "make the impossible possible" mindset has empowered teams throughout his tenure at Cisco. He has held key leadership roles in Sales, Services, Customer Success, Operations, and Strategy across the United States and Asia Pacific, where he spent 20 years.

Under Chris’s guidance, the GSBP team has significantly boosted growth in services and software, particularly expanding transaction volume and market share in the Premium Services and Buying Programs sectors.

Previously, as President and GM of the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Global Service Provider (GSP) segment, Chris spearheaded major regional transformations. He played a pivotal role in making India the leader in global broadband access by deploying routers to over 250,000 rural base stations and partnered with Rakuten to launch the world’s first fully virtualized, cloud-native mobile network. While overseeing APJ Customer Experience, he managed a multi-billion-dollar P&L and earned "CX Region of the Year" honors for two consecutive years, also serving on the APJ Executive Board and the Worldwide GSP Senior Leadership team.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Rollins College, where he is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, and has completed Executive Education at The Wharton School. He is a dedicated advocate for Covenant House in New York City, where he resides with his wife, Evonne, and their children, Lucas and Maddie. Originally from Philadelphia, Chris embraces his identity as a "tortured Philly sports fan" and enjoys cooking, yoga, and team sports.
